Local Assistance Day (LAD) is a free quarterly webinar that provides a regular platform for California’s local public agencies to connect directly with subject matter experts on topics ranging from critical industry announcements to local project delivery policies, processes, and procedures to the peer-sharing of agency best practices.

Presentation topics are updated in response to local demand and current priorities and can be found posted to the event registration page as each upcoming agenda is formalized.

These three-hour webinars are presented by the Caltrans Division of Local Assistance (DLA) in partnership with the Regional Transportation Planning Agencies Group, Federal Highway Administration, and California's Local Technical Assistance Program (CALTAP).

Registration is free and open to all interested parties, though LAD is intended to connect with and inform project managers, engineers, and similar industry professionals who work with managed program funding and local assistance processes for local and tribal agencies.

Note that while multiple LAD dates may be listed to help you schedule around these important events, registration is only possible for the earliest event shown.
