Posted: 7/13/2026

WEBINAR: July 20, 2026, 8:00AM - 9:30AM PT

Digital Twins for Structural Testing & Predictive Evaluation explores how digital twins are being applied to structural testing and evaluation to support predictive modeling and performance-based decision-making.

As agencies move toward data-driven asset management, integrating sensor data with digital twins enables predictive modeling and more proactive infrastructure decision-making.

During this webinar, hosted by the Transportation Research Board (TRB), presenters will discuss practical strategies for integrating sensor data, inspection results, and analytical models into digital frameworks that enhance condition assessment and lifecycle management. In addition, presenters will address the capabilities of structural bridge testing and evaluation.

Attendees will gain insights into implementation considerations, data interoperability challenges, and opportunities for advancing digital twin applications in transportation infrastructure.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify key components developing digital twins
  • Evaluate strategies for integrating sensor data & inspection information
  • Assess implementation challenges and opportunities digital twins

Presenters:

  • Arnulf Hagen, Aidalos AS
  • Rad Lazic, Autodesk
  • Allen Melley, Pennsylvania DOT
  • Hoda Azari, FHWA (Moderator)

Complimentary registration is available for employees of TRB sponsors, standing technical committee chairs, involved CRP panel members, tribal government employees, media, congressional staff, & TRB or National Academies staff.
