Transportation Planning Capacity Building Peer Exchange

The FHWA's Office of Planning is hosting a free webinar on the Transportation Planning Capacity Building (TPCB) Peer Exchange Program, a free resource for agencies in need of transportation planning assistance. 

Participants will learn about the available program resources, peer exchange formats, benefits to participants, transportation related topics of interest, examples of recent peer exchanges, application process, and additional support available to participating agencies.

This free webinar is geared to transportation professionals within the following agencies: 

  • Metropolitan Planning Organizations (MPOs)
  • Councils of Government (COGs)
  • Regional Planning Organizations (RPOs)
  • Transit Operators
  • State Departments of Transportation (DOTs)
  • Tribal Governments 

Gloria Jeff, Livability Director at Minnesota DOT will also share her experience with the Transportation Equity virtual peer exchange held in March 2022.

Gloria Jeff, AICP

Presenter Gloria Jeff is an experienced transportation executive, professional, and urban planner.

She currently serves as MnDOT Metro District’s Livability Director and Co-Chair of the TRB Committee on Transportation Equity, and is an active member of TRB's committees on Transportation History, Public Involvement, Community Impacts, and Gender Transportation Issues.

Ms. Jeff holds a BSE and MSE in Civil Engineering and a Master of Urban Planning from the University of Michigan.

 

TPCB Peer Program

The Transportation Planning Capacity Building (TPCB) Peer Program is a free resource for agencies in need of transportation planning assistance. It organizes, facilitates, and documents events in order to share noteworthy practices among agencies.

TPCB is jointly administered by FHWA and FTA to help decision makers, transportation officials, and staff resolve the increasingly complex issues they face when addressing transportation needs in their communities.
