It's that time again! A call for local safety projects will be announced in the first part of May, so please join the Local Safety Team at Caltrans Division of Local Assistance (DLA) and FHWA as they kick-off HSIP Cycle 12.
This webinar is intended to help local agencies and tribal governments find out what’s new, how much funding will be available to each applicant, and any other updates you'll need to know to apply and submit a successful application.
Approximately $250M to $300M will be available to fund much needed safety projects on local roads, and as in past HSIP cycles, the majority of projects will be state-funded with a 10% local match.
This live webinar is FREE and open to Caltrans employees along with California's local public agencies and tribes.
HSIP is a core federal-aid program with the purpose of achieving a significant reduction in traffic fatalities and serious injuries on all public roads.
