Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
WEBINAR: April 18, 2024, 10:00AM - 11:00AM PT [CLOSED]
Join the Caltrans Division of Research, Innovation & System Information (DRISI) for this free 1 hour webinar where UC Davis presenters John Harvey and David Jones share research evaluating the Rubberized Hot Mix Asphalt-gap Graded (RHMA-G) layer thickness limits.
Current Caltrans guidelines restrict RHMA-G to surface layers due to cost and rutting concerns. However, recent advancements have mitigated these issues, making RHMA-G cost-competitive with conventional mixes and improving rutting performance.
After the presentation, the webinar will be open for questions.
The Research Connections Program focuses on broadening awareness of research projects at DRISI and strengthens the connection between Caltrans and local governments, academia, and industry.
