The California Department of Fish & Wildlife (CDFW) presents this 95-minute training webinar detailing the impact of SB790 and how it relates to wildlife connectivity, and the process for obtaining an Endangered Species Act (CESA) Consistency Determination.
This training is recommended for all industry professionals involved in securing, planning, and implementing environmental permits for construction projects and mitigating their environmental impact.
Recorded October 30th, 2023, this training opens with an overview of Senate Bill 790 and Fish & Game Codes §1955-1958 that enable CDFW’s draft Wildlife Connectivity Mitigation Guidelines for Conservation & Mitigation Banks and Mitigation Credit Agreements.
This is followed by California's Endangered Species Act (CESA) Consistency Determination (CD) process, including the laws that enable CDs, common issues, and best practices to help the CD process flow more smoothly.
