Courses for CA public agencies in delivery of successful federal aid projects from procurement to close-out
This course focuses on the basic components of appraisals and the required elements from FHWA’s perspective, in terms of compliance with the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR’s), the Uniform Act and the Right of Way Manual.
This workshop covers the proper procedures and guidelines for conducting the appraisal process under the requirement of the Uniform Act and 49 CFR Part 24, wiht a focus on the appraisal process and consideration of real property including fixtures and/or tenant owned improvements, as well as consideration in valuing temporary construction easements.
In addition, the workshop explains the basic Uniform Act acquisition requirements, including the offer of just compensation.

Attendees will learn the proper procedures and guidelines for conducting the appraisal process under the requirement of the Uniform Act and Part 24 in Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations and gain an understanding of the basic Uniform Act acquisition requirements including the offer of just compensation, including the relationship of the acquisition and relocation processes as it relates to tenants.

If you are unable to attend a training for which you have registered, you must notify us at least five (5) working days before the training is scheduled to begin. The College of Continuing Education will refund any registration fee paid by the participant less a $25 processing fee. If the cancellation occurs within five (5) working days of the training, no refund will be issued.
