Courses for CA public agencies in delivery of successful federal aid projects from procurement to close-out

ADA Administrative Requirements

The Caltrans Division of Local Assistance has developed a webinar for Local Public Agencies (LPAs) to administratively implement Section 504 Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Section 504) and Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

This workshop provides LPAs with administrative Title II of the ADA and Section 504 requirements to ensure public right-of-way roadways and pedestrian facilities do not discriminate based on disabilities in any highway transportation program, activity, service, or benefit provided to the general public.

This includes, but is not limited to ADA/504 Coordinator, Grievance Procedures, Self-Evaluation, Transition Plan, Curb Ramp Schedule, and Communications for local agencies.
