A nationally-recognized “Roadway Safety 101” training series for professionals who aren't safety experts
This 4-hour live-online course introduces participants to a broad range of legal, procedural, and operational issues that directly affect the work of first responders. By staying informed and adaptive, you ensure your actions align with professional standards and current best practices—leading to more consistent, legally sound, and safety-focused outcomes in the field.
This course is part of the Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP), a nationally recognized “Roadway Safety 101” certification training for professionals in transportation, public health, and first responder agencies who support roadway safety but are not safety specialists.

By completing all seven core modules and one complete pathway, participants become eligible to receive their Road Safety Champion Certificate. A full list of RSCP training modules can be found at the National Center for Rural Road Safety.
