Institutionalizing the Safe System Approach: Strategies for Local Action explores a valuable, new toolkit of proven, innovative, and emerging strategies for institutionalizing the Safe System Approach throughout transportation planning and programming.
Presented by the Vision Zero Network, the webinar will be joined by Fehr & Peers, along with road safety practitioners from Portland, OR; Montgomery County, MD; and the State of Georgia, who will share their firsthand experience of applying these strategies and making the Safe System a core part of their ongoing work.
Participants will leave with practical insights into how agencies can translate Safe System principles into action and results.
The Vision Zero Network collaborative helps communities reach their Vision Zero goals of eliminating all traffic fatalities and severe injuries, while increasing safe, healthy, equitable mobility for all.
