Transportation Safety Modeling & Analysis Platform

Posted: 7/17/2026

WEBINAR: July 28, 2026, 1:00PM - 2:30PM PT

The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) is hosting a free webinar on the SoCal Transportation Safety Predictive Modeling & Analysis Platform, a new tool developed by SCAG to support local jurisdictions investing in traffic safety.

This webinar will show how the platform can be used for data-informed safety planning and capital investments, as well as support local agencies and jurisdictions during the grant application process—such as for Active Transportation Program and the Safe Streets & Roads for All grants—with data and visualizations to identify priorities, document needs, and visualize project benefits.

Session speakers include both SCAG staff and a representative from Citian, the consultants partnering with SCAG to develop the forthcoming SoCal Transportation Safety Predictive Modeling & Analysis Platform.

This webinar is part of SCAG's "Toolbox Tuesdays" program, which provides training on a range of practical skills and knowledge for local planning practitioners, including training in the use of technology and education for practical approaches to timely issues.
