Working and navigating public customer service presents its own unique set of challenges. This webinar provides an overview of working with the public and some of the misconceptions the public may have about government, the nature of hostile and abusive behavior and some specific strategies for defusing and managing challenging situations.
This workshop is for anyone (management or line-staff) whose job has a direct impact on other people and who has an interest in learning new skills or enhancing existing ones for providing excellence in service within the Public Sector.
Participants will be emailed a Zoom link prior to the workshop.
Carolyn Miller is the deputy county manager in Chatham County, NC and has instructed in the areas of leadership, conflict management, and supervision for over 25 years.
Carolyn is an instructor with the North Carolina LTAP in the continuing education programs for local government employees, instructing courses in supervision, leadership, ethics, supervision and conflict management.
