Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
TRAINING: August 17, 2026 - August 18, 2026 , 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM PT
This in-person OSHA 10 safety training for construction workers and supervisors helps participants understand how to navigate common job-site hazards so they feel safe at work. Primarily this involves spotting, avoiding, and reporting safety and health risks encountered on a daily basis
The workshop, to be held at Robinson Rancheria Resort & Casino in Nice, CA, is part of OSHA’s Outreach Training Program and provides an in-depth understanding of OSHA standards and regulations.
The training includes best practices on how to prevent slipping, tripping, getting struck by an object, electrocution, and getting caught in between objects or machinery. Additionally, the training helps increase your knowledge about construction-specific safety measures under OSHA 29 CFR 1926.
To support WTTAP's core mission, tribal applicants will be given priority registration.
All non-tribal applicants will be waitlisted until this process has been completed.
Scott Alquist has over 39 years of professional safety work, specializing in construction safety, general industry safety, and hazardous materials.
Scott is an authorized NHI and OSHA training instructor.
