Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
The DOT has launched the Project Delivery Center of Excellence, based at the USDOT Volpe Center, to help recipients of federal infrastructure funds deliver projects more efficiently and effectively.
The Center of Excellence will serve as a central resource for innovative and effective practices and bring project managers together to enable knowledge sharing and peer-to-peer learning. It will work in alignment with USDOT's infrastructure priority to support USDOT leadership with oversight of department-wide project delivery initiatives.

The John A Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center), created in 1970, serves as a federal resource to provide multidisciplinary and multimodal transportation expertise on behalf of USDOT’s operating administrations.
Its mission is to advance transportation innovation for the public good by anticipating emerging transportation issues and objectively addressing the nation’s most pressing and complex transportation challenges.
