This training covers Administration, Operations & Planning, Compliance, and Tribal Transit, with references to key federal circulars. Regularly updated, the Transit Manager's Toolkit* provides current guidance and allows users to suggest new topics for practical, day-to-day management support.
Learning Objectives:
* The Transit Manager's Toolkit is for new rural/tribal transit managers who need a practical reference for day-to-day operations and FTA Section 5311 compliance. It provides essential guidance to help transit organizations run smoothly and meet federal requirements.
With 15 years in public health & human services, Carrie Brown has served communities as Director of Human Services, Tribal Health & Human Services Director, Safety Circuit Rider, and now Director of the NVLTAP.
Carrie's expertise is in training delivery with a focus on cultural sensitivity; her mission is to strengthen communities through transportation countermeasures and safety initiatives.
