Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
WEBINAR: March 18, 2026, 10:00AM - 11:30AM PT
The National Operations Center of Excellence (NOCoE) presents Integrating Emerging Trends & Technologies to Advance TSMO Programs, a new webinar introducing a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) playbook designed to equip Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSMO) practitioners with approaches to anticipate and leverage emerging technologies, trends, and services to advance their programs.
TSMO practices continue to evolve, mirroring innovations in communications, vehicle and consumer technology, traveler behavior and preferences, and data analytics. Emerging technologies and trends create new services, capabilities, and applications for transportation users and agencies. By evaluating and incorporating them, agencies can increase the overall effectiveness of their TSMO efforts.
FHWA's new playbook (FHWA-HOP-25=045) is organized into four context areas: Planning & Program; Institutional, Systems, & Operations. This webinar features an overview of the Playbook for Integrating Emerging Trends, Technologies, & Services into TSMO, along with two presentations sharing how agencies are leveraging technology to advance their TSMO programs.
