The 2nd National Tribal Road Maintenance Symposium is being held this year at the Box Elder Events Center in Box Elder, SD, just outside of Rapid City.
This symposium brings together professionals from across the nation, coordinated by the Northern Tribal Technical Assistance Program (NTTAP) in partnership with the Bureau of Indian Affairs Division of Transportation (BIADOT), the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Tribal Transportation Program (TTP), and professionals from several tribal transportation departments

The Northern Region Tribal Technical Assistance Program (Northern TTAP) supports tribal governments and transportation professionals through training and technical support.
Its mission is to strengthen transportation networks that serve and connect tribal communities, by providing resources that enhance roadway safety, maintenance, and infrastructure management.
