Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
WEBINAR: February 18, 2026, 12:00PM - 1:00PM PT
The National Association of County Engineers (NACE) is hosting a free webinar on Integrating Asset Management into Capital Project Delivery for Local Government.
Local governments deliver capital projects every year, yet critical asset information is often lost between project completion and ongoing operations. This webinar introduces infrastructure lifecycle-focused project management, a practical approach that connects project delivery to the long-term lifecycle of the assets you’re building and maintaining.
Attendees will learn how to integrate asset management requirements directly into capital project workflows; starting with planning and design, continuing through construction, and extending into closeout and handover. The session covers how to capture asset data as work is performed, align project records with asset inventories and GIS, and ensure costs, documentation, and approvals support future maintenance and replacement planning.
By treating projects as the front end of the asset lifecycle, agencies can reduce rework, improve data quality, and strengthen long-term infrastructure decision-making.
The National Association of County Engineers (NACE) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan professional organization representing over 3,000 county road and infrastructure professionals across the US, dedicated to ensuring safe, efficient county roads and bridges through advocacy, education, and collaboration.
"There can be no doubt that the transportation sector is the most critical sector of our economy."
