2026 National Transportation in Indian Country

The 2026 National Transportation in Indian Country Conference (NTICC) will be held at Gila River Casino & Resort Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, Arizona.

This annual conference is hosted by Center for Tribal Transportation (CITT) and is planned and organized by a planning committee comprised of tribal transportation professionals from tribes and tribal organizations across the U.S.

NTICC features learning sessions and conference tracks tailored to fit the transportation related professional development needs in Indian Country.

Session Topics Include:

  • Planning (Right-of-Way/Environmental)
  • Transit, Safety, Technology
  • Tribal Transportation Program (TTP) 101
  • Project Development, Certifications
  • Road Management & Maintenance

In addition to the content-rich sessions, NTICC offers multiple hands-on training opportunities and the one-of-a-kind Heavy Equipment Roadeo Competition.

Attendance of over 700 tribal transportation professionals will include key federal agency partners from the US DOT, FHWA, NHTSA, FTA, FRA, MARAD, FMCSA, and BIA ... along with a host of organizations dedicated to furthering tribal transportation initiatives.

The Center for Tribal Transportation

The Center for Tribal Transportation (CTT) is a Native-American owned/operated non-profit corporation with principle offices in New Mexico and Arizona.

CTT provides training, education, technical assistance, and program mentoring resources for tribes and local agencies in transportation and infrastructure.
