TRAINING: January 20, 2026, 10:00AM - 12:00PM PT
Understanding Human Factors offers an opportunity to learn how human behavior impacts road safety in your community. Presented by the the National Center for Rural Road Safety (NCRRS), this virtual training explores how road user behavior leads to safer, more effective policies and practices.
Part of their Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP), this nationally recognized certificate program helps local government staff gain practical expertise in making roads safer through better design, operations, and maintenance.
This 2-hour training is the second in a 7-part series of online training that covers many of RSCP's career-focused modules. Each 2-hour session is free to attend and completion goes towards your requirements to become RSCP-certified. These courses may be taken out-of-turn and completed any time in the future when available.
RSCP is open to all staff from transportation, public health, and law enforcement agencies who have an interest in roadway safety but are not safety experts.
