The Arkansas Local Technical Assistance Program (ARLTAP) is hosting a free webinar on "Road Safety Enhancements: Data-Driven Strategies".
A roadway or lane departure crash is a crash which occurs after a vehicle crosses an edge line or a center line or otherwise leaves the traveled way. From 2016 to 2018 an average of 19,158 fatalities resulted from roadway departures, which is 51 percent of all traffic fatalities in the United States.
This two-hour webinar will showcase how to use available data for applying safety treatments before crashes happen.

The Arkansas LTAP is responsible for assisting cities and counties with the implementation of transportation related technology to empower local agencies to develop safer, more efficient, more economical road and street programs.
