RSCP 2025: Systemic Safety Project Selection Tool

Posted: 11/3/2025

TRAINING: December 16, 2025, 11:00AM - 1:00PM PT

The National Center for Rural Road Safety (NCRRS) is presenting "Systemic Safety Project Selection Tool" as part of this season's Planning & Engineering Pathway of their Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP), a nationally recognized certificate program designed to build a knowledgeable, safety-minded workforce responsible for operating, maintaining, and designing local roads.

Take a deep dive into the Systemic Safety Project Selection Tool, a process for identifying the factors that can contribute to crashes and implementing effective countermeasures. The training will also cover the seven steps of the safety analysis process and discuss how it can be applied using both the traditional site safety analysis method and the systemic analysis method.

RSCP is open to all staff from transportation, public health, and law enforcement agencies who have an interest in roadway safety but are not safety experts.
