RSCP 2025: Safety of Responders on Roads

Posted: 11/3/2025

TRAINING: December 11, 2025, 11:00AM - 1:00PM PT

The National Center for Rural Road Safety (NCRRS) is presenting "Safety of Responders on Roads" as part of this season's First Responder Pathway of their Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP), a nationally recognized certificate program designed to build a knowledgeable, safety-minded workforce responsible for operating, maintaining, and designing local roads.

A supplement to the National Traffic Incident Management Responder training, this module provides a deeper understanding of tools, recommendations, and materials available for first responders to ensure their safety while working on the side of the road.

RSCP is open to all staff from transportation, public health, and law enforcement agencies who have an interest in roadway safety but are not safety experts.
