TRAINING: November 5, 2025, 11:00AM - 1:00PM PT
The National Center for Rural Road Safety (NCRRS) is presenting "Integrating Public Health & Transportation to Enhance Road User Safety" as part of this season's Public Health Pathway of their Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP), a nationally recognized certificate program designed to build a knowledgeable, safety-minded workforce responsible for operating, maintaining, and designing local roads.
Explore the relationship between public health and transportation through a public health-rooted approach to transportation safety. Participants will learn key terms and principles of public health practices as well as opportunities to integrate public health approaches and considerations into transportation safety work.
RSCP is open to all staff from transportation, public health, and law enforcement agencies who have an interest in roadway safety but are not safety experts.
