Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
CONFERENCE: October 23, 2025 - October 24, 2025 , 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM PT
The UC Berkeley Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS Berkeley) is hosting a workshop and demo day to explore how AI is rapidly reshaping the transportation industry – from autonomous vehicles and drones to electrified freight and predictive infrastructure.
The DRIVE AI Forum (Data, Resilience, Infrastructure, Vehicles, & Electrification + Artificial Intelligence) will convene leaders across sectors to set research priorities, showcase live demonstrations, and build pathways from pilot projects to scalable deployment.
In addition to workshop discussions, ITS Berkeley will host a "Demo Day" at Richmond Field Station (RFS), where it has built a comprehensive applied testbed that connects land, sea, and sky in one innovative ecosystem. By uniting researchers, startups, corporates, and policymakers, RFS bridges discovery, testing, and commercialization while preparing the people who will operate, regulate, and secure tomorrow’s transportation systems.
