Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
TRAINING: October 9, 2025, 9:00AM - 11:30AM PT
The Nevada Local Technical Assistance Program (NVLTAP) is hosting a 2.5-hour virtual training on how local agencies can manage drainage systems effectively and efficiently.
Drainage systems are a key asset to maintain and maintenance is critical for extending the life of pavements, as drainage systems control water flow along maintainable pathways. Routine inspection identifies maintenance needs and lessens the potential for flooding. This includes inspections of shoulders, ditches, pipes, and culverts.
This course is ideal for anyone involved in the maintenance of drainage systems or who is responsible for identifying and scheduling drainage maintenance work.
Course Topics:
This course follows the guidelines and structure of the FHWA's Maintenance of Drainage Features for Safety.
