Hosted under the Every Day Counts (EDC7): Enhancing Performance with Internally Cured Concrete (EPIC2) initiative, this webinar from August 27th, 2025, provided an in-depth look at the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) internally cured high performance concrete bridge deck pilot program.
This webinar was specifically targeted at agencies considering the adoption of internal curing, but had yet to begin or were in the early stages of implementation. The goal was for participants to gain an understanding of NJDOT’s strategic approach and their recommendations for integrating internal curing into their infrastructure projects.

Now in its 7th round, FHWA's EDC state-based initiative identifies and deploys proven innovations that will make our transportation systems more adaptable, sustainable, and safer for all.
