The West Virginia LTAP (WV LTAP) is hosting a free 3-hour online training on effective grant writing to help you leverage more resources for your agency's priorities.

Through this workshop, participants will gain an understanding of the grant-writing process, including the most important considerations for identifying the right funding sources and creating a compelling application. With guidance and practical exercises from grant writing professional Sam Richardson, attendees will leave with tools to pursue grants and funding sources their agencies and communities need to thrive.

The West Virginia LTAP (WV LTAP) serves the state by providing training, demonstrations, personalized technical assistance, resource materials, and other services to individuals and agencies responsible for managing and maintaining West Virginia’s roadways.

Sam Richardson

Grant Writing Basics instructor Sam Richardson is the Transportation Planning Director of Belomar Regional Council and serves as board member of WV LTAP.

With a Master of Public Administration from West Virginia University, Mr. Richardson has a deep understanding of how to align agency priorities with funding opportunities.
