The Caltrans Active Transportation Program (ATP) team is hosting a free 2-hour workshop that outlines next steps for Cycle 7 awarded agencies on how to begin their projects. ATP Cycle 7 is expected to provide about $568M in project funding that's made up of federal, state (SB1), and State Highway Account (SHA) dollars.

The webinar will also include an overview of resources available through California's Active Transportation Resource Center (ATRC). This workshop is intended to inform both new and past awardees looking to get started.

The California Active Transportation Program (ATP) is a state-funded initiative administered by Caltrans that is designed to encourage an increased use of walking and biking.
Since inception, ATP has funded over 800 active transportation projects across the state to benefit both urban and rural areas, with more than 400 being Safe Routes to Schools programs that promote a healthy and active lifestyle throughout student life.

California LTAP supports local public transportation agencies across the state by providing professional training, technical assistance, knowledge transfer, and worksite best practices and innovations that help them plan, manage, and maintain their roadway infrastructure.
