Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
The National Center for Rural Road Safety (NCRRS) Road Safety Champion Program (RSCP) is a nationally recognized “Roadway Safety 101” training series that provides intensive training that covers road safety plus road safety within planning & engineering, maintenance & construction, and first responder & public health sectors.
This makes RSCP ideal for staff in transportation, public health, and first responder agencies who have an interest in roadway safety but are not safety experts. RSCP training includes seven core modules plus various career-focused pathways, the completion of which earns you the title of Road Safety Champion and a program certificate.
The previous December 2024 through June 2025 training season yielded 69 practitioner graduates, the full list of which can be found here. All RSCP graduates are recognized and celebrated nationally through NCRRS.
