Key highlights on regulations, policies, and program funding for the transportation professional
The National Center for Rural Road Safety (NCRRS) has posted their latest webinar from June 19th, 2025, on how human factors impact rural road safety.
In this webinar, participants were able to learn about the discipline of human factors, how they can impact rural road safety, and what strategies that can be implemented in communities for mitigating related risks.
Participants also had the chance to learn about the updated Human Factors Guidelines for Road Systems, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2025, as well as NCHRP Research Report 1111 which focuses assessing human factors contributions to crashes and selecting countermeasures that mitigate human factors risks.
