What is SS4A?

Established by the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) competitive grant program will provide $5 billion in grant funding over five years.

Funding supports regional, local, and Tribal initiatives through grants to prevent roadway deaths and serious injuries. Read about how SS4A is impacting communities here.

The SS4A program supports the USDOT's National Roadway Safety Strategy and its goal of zero roadway deaths using a Safe System Approach.
