Improving Concrete Pavement Foundations

Posted: 6/20/2025

WEBINAR: June 26, 2025, 9:00AM - 10:30AM PT [CLOSED]

If you’re a Construction Professional, Transportation Engineer, Asset/Network Manager, or involved in any aspect of pavement projects, join this SWCPA workshop to learn what goes into Improving Concrete Pavement Foundations.

Robust concrete pavement foundations are fundamental to the quality and performance of roadway pavement systems. Without a stable, well-designed, well-constructed foundation, concrete pavement is susceptible to premature failure.

In this online workshop, learn how base and other foundation layers are designed to distribute traffic loads and provide a stable, non-erodible, and consistent platform for the top pavement layer, and see how pavement foundations often contain high quantities of recycled or reused materials from the project site.

Featured Presenters:

  • David White, CEO of Ingios Geotechnics
  • Marco Estrada, Director of Market Development at Pavement Recycling Systems
  • Angel Mateos, Research Engineer, Principal Investigator, UC Pavement Research Center
  • Deepak Maskey, Sr Transportation Engineer, Caltrans Office of Concrete Pavements

Join this webinar to learn what is fundamental to the design and construction of robust concrete pavement foundations, and how to improve upon them.
