Concrete Pavement Essentials 101

This free 75-minute workshop provides a comprehensive introduction to the design and construction of Jointed Plain Concrete Pavement (JPCP) and Continuously Reinforced Concrete Pavement (CRCP), with a focus on standards, practices, and materials commonly used in California and the western United States.

Hosted by the Southwest Concrete Pavement Association (SWCPA), this workshop emphasizes project success with durable, long-life pavement, including pavement structure, jointing, concrete mixtures, and construction best practices.
